JSON Logger

1. Setting up the JSONL log provider is similar to setting up any SSIS log provider, first you have to open the logging window, either by right clicking and choosing the appropriate option or by the Cozyroc SSIS extension. Then add the Cozyroc log provider for JSON files.

2. Create a FILE connection that can point to either:

• A file: Logs will be appended to the specified file. (Create file still creates a file)
• A directory: A daily log file named logYYYY-MM-DD.jsonl (e.g., log2025-05-21.jsonl) will be automatically created in the directory.

3. Open the Logging window once again and paste the name of the FILE CM you just created to the Configuration column.

That's all for setup!

1. Tick the containers you would like to have the logger available to. Then enable the JSONL Logger for the packages and tasks you would like to log.

2. Tick the events you would like to log.

1. After executing a package, a log file will be created containing the log data, each subsequent execution will append to the file corresponding to the current date. If you have selected Create file/Existing file in your FILE CM, the file will contain the log data.

2. Open the file and verify the result.
